Founder & Community Outreach Manager

Dean Roff

Dean takes our mission very personally. Having been deeply affected by homelessness after serving in the Enduring Freedom conflict, he returned home to find that his own father had tragically passed away homeless. Simultaneously, he was facing the imminent responsibility of becoming a father himself.

Fueled by these profound life experiences, Dean dedicated himself wholeheartedly to ensuring that no one else would have to endure the desperation of homelessness. He refused to let his father’s memory fade away in vain, and he was determined to forge a brighter future for his son. Understanding that giving back to the very struggle he emerged from was the ultimate way to make a difference, he started his journey by distributing small hygiene packets from a book bag while skateboarding through the streets of Cleveland.

Today, Dean’s relentless passion and unwavering drive have transformed our organization into a flourishing nonprofit agency. Yet, despite the growth and accomplishments, Dean remains deeply rooted in his origins, continuing to ride through the streets, this time on our mobile distribution center, hand-delivering essential donations to those in need.

His incredible dedication and selflessness serve as a beacon of inspiration for all of us, reminding us of the vital importance of our mission to combat homelessness in our community. Dean’s personal journey and his compassionate actions stand as a testament to the power of resilience and the profound impact that one individual can have on the lives of countless others.
